Join MenLiving

Join a circle. Join the community.

MenLiving is men in facilitated circles — online and in person — and an online community that carries the conversation between meetings. It’s a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and it runs on the support of the men in it: most circles are free, and giving is what keeps them that way.

What every member has, and what contributors carry

Just show up

Open Circles

Every circle where a man finds his people is free and stays free.

  • Attend every open circle, online and in person
  • Gather in person — your chapter’s space follows
  • RSVP to anything public
Connection Circle

The front door. An open, facilitated conversation that gets past small talk — drop in any week and say as much or as little as you want.

ML 101 Circle

Thirty minutes for first-timers. What a men’s circle actually is, what’s expected of you, and what isn’t.

Fatherhood Circle

For dads, step-dads and the men who show up like one. The part of fatherhood nobody warns you about, with men who are in it too.

Neurodivergence Circle

For ADHD, autism, dyslexia and high sensitivity — diagnosed or not — and the people who love them. Come as you actually are.

Twentysomething Circle

For men 18 to 29, alongside guys figuring it out at the same time. Work, money, love, and who you’re becoming.

All Humans’ Circle

Once a month, all genders in the same room. A different conversation, under the same agreements.

GBTQ+ Circle

For gay, bisexual, transgender and queer men and their allies. Connection without having to translate yourself first.

Divorce & Separation Circle

Support for men going through divorce or separation — the unraveling, and who you become on the other side.

In-Person Open Circle

Local chapter meetings, in a room, monthly. First-timers welcome — you won’t be the only new man there.

Expanded Circles

Every open circle, plus six more — for the men who help keep MenLiving going.

  • Gather in these circles, several nights a week
  • Early access to Annual Retreats and Deep Work courses
  • A person welcomes you in — usually within a few hours
Expansion Circle

Four times a week — the backbone.

Go deeper on one topic the facilitator brings, with more room to sit inside a single question than a drop-in allows.

Next gathering:

Sage’s Circle

Eldership, mentorship and legacy — for men moving from accumulating to distilling what actually matters.

Next gathering:

Mastery Circle

One-off deep dives, often with a guest expert, on a subject worth a whole evening. Scheduled as they come together.

Dates are posted inside the community.

Accountability Circle

A weekly check-in on the goals you’re working, framed by Atomic Habits — for men who follow through when someone’s expecting them.

Next gathering:

Caregiver Circle

For anyone caring for someone they love. Learn from a guest expert, share what’s hard, or just sit with people who understand.

Next gathering:

In-Person Closed Circle

Madison’s closed in-person circle.

A committed small group for men who’ve been through open circles. A next step, not a parallel track.

Next gathering:

The spaces that go with them

Each of these circles has a matching space in the online community — Sage’s, Caregivers, and Accountability & Goals — where the conversation continues between meetings. The way into a space is the meeting itself: come to a gathering, and the facilitator invites you in afterward — so each space stays the men who actually sit in that circle.

Annual Retreats

What is a contributor?

A member who takes part and gives back — a monthly gift, his time, or a walk he leads.

A monthly gift is asked, never required, and one gift covers every circle. $25 a month is suggested — give what’s right for you.

Two ways to carry MenLiving

Two ways to keep the door open: become a contributor, or donate without joining. Both keep the free circles free.

Other ways in

Most are free, most weeks of the year. You can listen the whole time and nobody will ask you why.

Keep the door open for the men who need it

Connection should stay within reach.

Most circles are free because donors pay for them. Your gift funds facilitator training and keeps the open door open for the men who need it most.
