Who we are
MenLiving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs facilitated circles for men, online and in person, and an online community between gatherings. This policy covers the website you are reading. Questions about it go to todd@menliving.org.
What this website collects
Nothing, unless you give it to us. Reading any page requires no account and sets no cookie. The website has no database of visitors.
Request access form. If you ask to be brought into the community without giving, the form takes your name, your email address, and anything you choose to tell us. It never asks about your finances. What you enter is sent as an email to the person on the MenLiving team who welcomes new members, and it is used only to bring you in and to answer you. It is not added to a marketing list.
Notices you close. When you dismiss a notice on the site (for example the Men Walking Day reminder), the site remembers that in your own browser’s storage so it does not show again. That stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Hosting logs. Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider (Vercel) that keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, time and page requested — for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these to identify you.
No trackers. As of the date above, this website loads no advertising or analytics script. If that changes, this page will say so, and what it says will be true before the script is.
Giving
Gifts and donations are made through forms provided by GiveWP on MenLiving’s WordPress system and processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe; MenLiving never sees your full card number. GiveWP keeps your name, email address and giving history so you can receive receipts, manage a recurring gift, and see your own donation history. Stripe’s privacy policy governs payment data; GiveWP’s governs the form.
The online community
MenLiving’s online community is hosted by Circle. Creating a profile there, joining a space, or RSVPing to a gathering is governed by Circle’s privacy policy and by the community agreements every member accepts. What you share inside a circle is covered by those agreements, not by this website.
Newsletter and podcast
Signing up for the newsletter happens on our mailing-list page, run by our email provider; every email carries an unsubscribe link. Playing an episode of our podcast streams the audio from the show’s host (RSS.com), which receives a request from your browser when you press play.
Children
MenLiving’s gatherings are for adults and this website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13; if you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to todd@menliving.org. For giving records, the donor dashboard and Stripe receipts are the source; for the community, your Circle profile is. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have these rights under law; we extend them to everyone.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly widen what we collect.
