Mike has been coaching, teaching, and facilitating leadership development for more than 30 years, including working at a global consultancy and now leading his own firm. His work emphasizes how growth mindsets help individuals shift behaviors for better results. He specializes in critical thinking, communications, group interactions, and managing under stress. Mike recently co-founded Virtus Vanguard, which helps address the challenge of “good character” through collaboration, curiosity, and mindful choices.
He has served as a board member for an organization that helps nonprofits run their business. Mike is a facilitator, ambassador, and board member for MenLiving.
Mike has been a student and explorer of mindful practices for many years. In 2021, he was certified as a Mindful Workplace Facilitator by the Institute for Organizational Science and Mindfulness. He attended the 2024 Mindful MenLiving silent retreat.
Mike grew up in suburban Chicago and attended Loyola University, Chicago. He and his wife, Carol, live in Woodridge, Illinois. He also has an adult son. Mike’s interests include travel, live music, and theater.
