Rustin is a Colorado-based community builder, retreat creator, dog dad, artist, snowboarder, and power industry professional who helps commercial and industrial companies support a more stable electricity grid. He brings warmth, creativity, humor, and steady leadership into the spaces he helps create.
Rustin grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where the mountains, community, and meaningful friendships shaped much of who he is today. Since high school, he has naturally found himself bringing people together, whether through outdoor adventures, creative projects, business teams, or intentional spaces for honest conversation.
Rustin currently works in the power industry, helping large organizations reduce energy use and support a more stable electricity grid. Outside of work, he is an artist, snowboarder, climber, hiker, dog dad, and founder of Balance Retreats, a men’s retreat series in Colorado designed around connection, reflection, adventure, good food, and laughter.
Rustin is drawn to MenLiving because he believes men need places where they can show up fully, tell the truth, be supported, and remember they are not alone. As a facilitator, he brings a warm, welcoming, grounded, and creative presence, with the intention of helping men feel safe, seen, and invited into deeper connection with themselves and one another.
