These Terms of Service (the ‘Agreement’ or ‘Terms’) are an agreement between MenLiving (‘Menliving’ or ‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’) and you (‘User’ or ‘you’ or ‘your’). This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the products and services made available by MenLiving, including but not limited to meetings, articles, message boards, and the MenLiving website (collectively, the ‘Services’) with the URL https://menliving.org/ (‘Website’). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by the Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of the Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the Services.
By using the Services, you confirm that:
1. You have the legal right and agree to follow the Terms.
2. You are not a minor in your area; if you are, you have parental permission.
3. You will not use bots or scripts to access the Services.
4. You will not use the Services for illegal or unauthorized activities.
5. Your use will comply with all laws and regulations.
If you provide false or incomplete information, please be aware that we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use and deny you future use of our Services. We also retain the right to edit or remove content posted by you and cancel membership or orders at our sole discretion.

Use of Services: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Services and download or print a copy of any portion of the Website to which you have properly gained access, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
Scope of Services and Confidentiality: MenLiving is a peer-led support organization. It does not offer therapy and should not be considered a replacement for it. A facilitator leads and moderates each MenLiving meeting. Please note that our facilitators are not trained mental health professionals or providers. While we strive to maintain confidentiality, we cannot guarantee it, so you should be mindful of the information you share.
Notwithstanding any representations made in a meeting regarding privacy or confidentiality, there are exceptions:
- If the facilitator reasonably believes disclosing information shared in the meeting is necessary to prevent harm to oneself or others, he may disclose such information. However, the facilitator will try to share only the minimum details he believes are essential to avoid such harm, ensuring your confidentiality and trust in our services.
- MenLiving cannot and does not regulate or control information other meeting attendees share and is not liable for the results of any disclosures they make.
It is crucial to seek guidance from a licensed mental health professional if you are grappling with thoughts of harming yourself or others. Dial 9-1-1 (or 988) immediately for assistance.
Third-Party Websites and Content: Our Services may have links to other websites (‘Third- Party Websites’) and include various types of content from those websites (‘Third-Party Content’), including, but not limited to, articles, photos, graphics, videos, or software. We do not review, monitor, or check the accuracy or appropriateness of these Third-Party Websites and Third-Party Content. We are not responsible for them, including their content, opinions, privacy practices, or policies.
Linking to or including these Third-Party Websites or Content does not mean we endorse them. If you leave our Website to access these websites or use their content, you do so at your own risk. The Agreement no longer applies once you leave our site. You should review the terms and policies of any third-party site or content you use. Any purchases you make through Third-Party Websites are between you and the third party, and we are not responsible for them.
Verification of Users: You understand that we do not conduct background or identity verification checks on our users or otherwise inquire about users’ backgrounds. Though we strive to encourage a respectful user experience, MenLiving is not responsible for the conduct of any user of the Services. You agree to use caution in all interactions with other users, particularly if you decide to meet in person. While we aim to foster a safe environment, we cannot guarantee the actions or behavior of other users, and you should exercise your judgment and caution.
Indemnification: We provide the Services “as-is” without warranty of any kind and we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied. Neither MenLiving (including its affiliates) nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the Services will be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, resulting from any use or interruption of Services. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release, defend (at Our option), indemnify, and hold MenLiving (including its employees or volunteers) harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your breach of the Terms or (ii) your improper use of the Services.
Governing Law: The Agreement, and all claims and disputes arising hereunder or related hereto, will be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without reference to choice of laws, rules, or principles.
Jurisdiction and Waiver of Jury Trial: The federal and state courts in DuPage County, Illinois, and any courts authorized to hear appeals from such courts shall be the only courts with jurisdiction and venue to hear disputes under the Agreement. Both Parties and their successors waive a trial by jury of any issues arising in any action or proceeding between the Parties hereto or their successors under or connected with the Agreement or any of its provisions.
Modification of Agreement: We may change the Terms at any time by posting updates on the Website. The new terms take effect when we post them. By continuing to use the Website after we post changes, you agree to the new terms. You are responsible for reviewing these changes and ensuring your continued compliance with the Terms.
