Who this circle is for

Gay, bisexual, transgender and queer men, and their allies.

What a gathering is like

Connection without having to translate yourself first — that is the difference, and men who have sat in both rooms know it immediately. Everything else is the same practice: listening, no fixing, speaking from your own experience. This circle is free.

What you don’t have to do

  • You don’t have to talk. Listening is participation, and plenty of men listen the first few times.
  • You don’t have to fix anyone. Nobody will try to fix you either — that is the agreement, said out loud at the start.
  • You don’t have to have a story ready. Men speak from their own experience, and “I don’t know yet” is an experience.
  • You don’t have to keep coming. Men come once, or for a season, or for years. Coming three times and moving on is the model working.
  • You don’t have to explain why you came. Nobody will ask, and nobody will follow up afterwards.

Same agreements everywhere. What changes is the room.

Ready when you are

Most are free, most weeks of the year. You can listen the whole time and nobody will ask you why.

Keep the door open for the men who need it

Connection should stay within reach.

Most circles are free because donors pay for them. Your gift funds facilitator training and keeps the open door open for the men who need it most.
