What a gathering is like

Each gathering focuses on a particular subject. Topics and guests vary, and gatherings are scheduled as they are arranged. Check the listing for details.

• You don’t have to talk. Listening is participation, and plenty of men listen the first few times.
• You don’t have to fix anyone. Nobody will try to fix you either — that is the agreement, said out loud at the start.
• You don’t have to have a story ready. Men speak from their own experience, and “I don’t know yet” is an experience.
• You don’t have to commit to returning. Try a gathering and decide whether you’d like to attend again.
• You choose what to share about yourself and why you came.
