My name is Shaun Emerson. After seven years with MenLiving creating spaces for men to connect, heal, and thrive, I realized it was high time we created that same space for men and women to gather—to explore our shared worlds, our joys, our frustrations, and build real understanding.
That’s why we created All Humans, and I’m personally inviting you to join me.
Why should you come?
Honestly, I asked myself that same question over 10 years ago when Todd Adams invited me into his living room for a men’s group. Life was fine. I was good. I couldn’t see how this kind of event would make my life better.
Well, that single meeting led to hundreds of conversations with thousands of men. My life has been immeasurably enriched by those circles and the relationships I’ve built across the world.
What hooked me? We explored topics that took the group to levels far deeper than we get in everyday casual chatter. We often found ourselves sharing deeper than we might with folks we consider close friends. Those calls forced me to reflect on who I was and what I wanted out of my life. Sitting with people who were thriving, as well as those who were struggling, filled me with joy, compassion, and perspective. Ultimately, I grew from it. I became a better partner and friend for people in my life and a better human for other humans.
Now, I want to build that same dynamic, energy, and depth in a space shared by both men and women. That kind of connection is out there waiting for us, but we must build the room together.
