Happy Almost Spring
Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of 2026 I’m looking forward to our meeting Tuesday evening to hear what everyone has been listening to, concerts you’ve either been to or have tickets for, and anything else on your minds.
As Jim Herbert pointed out to me recently, we’ll be meeting on St. Patrick’s Day, so naturally we need to discuss all things Irish musically and while I’m not Irish, I do love the music, though might knowledge is limited. My wife is Irish, so hopefully that counts for something. Of course there are some great Irish artists: U2, The Cranberries, Thin Lizzy, The Pogues, The Boomtown Rats, Van Morrison, Fontaines D.C., The Saw Doctors, Clannad, The Corrs, The Undertones, Horslips, Sinead O’Conner, Rory Gallagher, The Chieftains, Hozier, The Waterboys, and The Dropkick Murphys
